Holiday Trains!

WHERE: Swanton Historical Society R.R. DEPOT MUSEUM, 58 South River Street

WHAT’S HAPPENING: Fred Wiseman has set up his 1915-1955 model trains and accessories for all to enjoy, including steam, diesel, and electric trains.

FREE ADMISSION for visitors of all ages

Come earn an HONORARY MODEL TRAIN ENGINEER CERTIFICATE after learning how to safely operate electric trains!

Spend a moment in history experiencing what toy trains were like “way back when.”

MEETING LOCATION: Unless otherwise noted, all meetings will be at the restored railroad depot on 58 South River Street, Swanton. PUBLIC IS WELCOME. FREE. HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE.

MUSEUM HOURS: The Railroad Depot & Transportation Museum is closed for winter and will reopen in the spring of 2010.  You may always call 868-5436 to leave a message or inquiry.
